The campus of our university stands as an impressive sight today, adorned with meticulously maintained fields, a well-connected network of roads, residential colonies, illuminated streets, a telephone exchange, hospitals, market centers, a reliable water supply section, and not to mention, six primary schools and three secondary schools. Nestled in the Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, our main campus occupies a strategic location at 29 N latitude and 79 E longitude, situated at an elevation of 243.8 meters above the mean sea level. With its extensive area coverage, our main campus holds the responsibility of catering to the entire Uttarakhand region, encompassing the plains, Tarai, Bhabar, and hilly areas.
However, recognizing the need to extend our services to the hill region, we have established additional stations in Ranichauri (Tehri district), Majhera (Nainital district), and Lohaghat-Sui (Champavat district). These stations serve as essential hubs, enabling us to better reach and serve the diverse geographical regions within Uttarakhand.
At our university, we take immense pride in our dedicated team, which comprises 763 teachers and officers, 59 technical staff members, 631 administrative and ministerial personnel, and 1425 class III employees, culminating in a total workforce of 2878 individuals. This committed team ensures the smooth functioning and efficient operation of our university, contributing to the overall growth and development of our institution.
As for our student community, their numbers range between 4200 to 4400, fostering an environment of close-knit academic engagement and personalized attention. With a teacher-student ratio of approximately 1:6, we strive to provide a conducive learning atmosphere where every student receives individualized guidance and support. This enables us to nurture a strong teacher-student bond, facilitating comprehensive knowledge transfer and holistic development.
